You can still upload your own pictures and panoramic photos to your Google+ page, but Business View Virtual Tours can only be collected by Google Certified Photographers and Agencies.
There are certain businesses and organisations that are not eligible for the Google Business Views program. Please call to discuss your eligibility or not.
Google Business Views can only be photographed by a Trusted Photographer or Agency. We are an independent contractor and are not employed by Google, are not agents of Google, or affiliated with Google in any way. Trusted Photographers have to pass stringent training for taking panoramic pictures, uploading them, moderating them, and publishing them on Google properties, maintain certain standards and practises, and have the correct equipment before Google being certified.

Yes. If you have more than one location we can offer discounts when booked at the same time. Charities please contact us for more information.
In general we will be on your premises for between 1-2 hours deopending on the number of panoramas required. But this varies depending on the size of your business, the number of aisles, the number of Point of Interest shots, etc.
You are welcome to clean and tidy things up prior to the photography session, however the aim of the photographs is to show customers what they would expect to see if they visited your business on any normal day.
That will be up to you, but generally Photo shoots show the public facing areas of your business. You can work with the photographer to determine what areas of your businesses you would like to highlight, or exclude from the shoot. In general private areas such as staff rooms, toilets etc. are not included in the shoot.
We will work around your schedule to ensure the photos are taken at a convenient time for you and your business. All we need to bring is a tripod and camera set-up, no other special equipment, or lighting is needed. That means the photo shoots are non-disruptive and will not interfere with your normal business operations. As we try to avoid taking photographs of any people though, so it will be best to arrange the shoot at a quiet time.
Because the aim of the tour is to display the inside of your business, we attempt to have as few people in the shots as possible. During the shoot, our photographer will alert customers and employees that the premises are to be photographed. Any faces uploaded to Google will be blurred anyway.
The end result is usually live on the web within a few days to a week.
Our photo shoots will avoid any private areas and areas you do not want featured. Additionally, our photographers will always alert customers and employees before a photo is taken, to uphold their privacy. All faces that appear in the final images will be blurred. Also any other data picked up such as photographs, computer screens, license plates, adult material will also be blurred.
You must have the required authority to allow us access to the premises and take photographs which will be used by Google in its products and services. People with the authority will include the business owner, the manager or director who can authorise on behalf of the business. Please note that when you sign the Google terms and conditions before any photo shoot, you are confirming that you have the required authority for this.
Google can at their discretion use the images taken in other products or services that makes your business information more useful and accessible to users. As an example, your business will be integrated with Google Maps to allow customers to find the virtual tour Street View imagery of your premises. They may also use them in future applications or ways, but they will always be in a way that benefits you.
You will own the photos taken by us once you have paid in full for the service, but the agreement you sign also licenses the use of the photos to Google and the Trusted Photographer who can publish the images.
The virtual tour will be made live on Google before you can view it as a ‘walk- through’ experience. The individual photos will need to be ‘stitched-together’ before becoming live, and because that takes considerable processing after being uploaded, you will not be able to review the images before then.
Yes, if there are any issues or problems you can ask us to blur out areas of the panoramic images or you can ask for the tour to be taken down.
Yes, if any of your photos are found to violate the Google photo policy. they may be removed. But as the images are thoroughly checked before being uploaded, that is unlikely.
You can embed the tour on your website or social pages for your customers to enjoy. To embed the virtual tour on your website, it is easy to grab the embed code straight from Google Maps, and paste the HTML into your website. There are even more advanced options using the Google Maps API.
